‘Wild-Ones’

Welcome to our ‘Wild-Ones’ one year old room!  Our one’s room is the next step out of the infant room, and before our Tremendous-Two year old room.  We use this room to gently transition infants out of the crib & onto a cot, from high chair to table dining, and from two naps to one nap.   The ultimate goal of the one year old room is to adjust children to the school wide schedule. Our one year old program will stimulate the growth of your child by focusing on the social, emotional, cognitive and physical aspects in this crucial time of their development and assisting them to reach their developmental milestones.  Our one year old classroom is spacious and allows young tots room to move their bodies and exercise their gross motor skills.  An age appropriate curriculum with bi-weekly units and daily lesson plans is used and focuses on fine motor skills as well as language development and much more! 

We want your children to be as comfortable here as they are at home, doing our best to eliminate the stress of being away from Mom & Dad!  Working with you, we will eventually wean them off of their morning nap to get them adjusted to our school wide schedule. Language development, gross and fine motor skills, & social development are blossoming at this age and it is our goal to guide & nurture your littles to the best of their individual abilities!
